The most marvelous musical institution in the Salem area!
…the whole concert experience was stunning. Hats off to you for organizing something so touching and memorable.
It was a sweet surprise to find the caliber and quality of music that I’ve found in Salem, Oregon. The quality of the musicians is superior. Thank you for so graciously providing this for our community!
SCO is able to rehearse and perform on a faster, higher level than any ensemble I have ever played with and it has absolutely made me a better player.
It has been a fantastic experience to be in a somewhat “real world” orchestra and to have the opportunity to sit next to my professor. It’s also a great way to be exposed to lots of repertoire.
Just wonderful. Mr. Caoile is a wonderfully engaging conductor; the joy he feels in sharing this music with the audience was palpable. In turn, you could feel that in the musicians’ playing, both Ms. Netz, and the orchestra itself.
I thought the concert was FANTASTIC. What a treat to have such talent [Red Priest] perform in Salem. … I bet our musicians REALLY had fun playing with Red Priest. It was a treat all the way around.
The various orchestral soloists were so expressive and special congratulations go to Prof. Mike Hettwer for the Mozart Horn Concerto. It was rich and lyrical with impeccable support form the orchestra. I came away uplifted, inspired, and so very proud.
