Daniel
Rouslin, Concertmaster
Daniel Rouslin did his undergraduate work in
violin performance at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music
and completed his graduate work at the Universities of Chicago
and Iowa where he received the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts
in 1976. From 1973 to 1986 he served as first violinist of the
award winning Delos String Quartet with which he toured on three
continents and made a recording for Spectrum Records.
As a violin soloist, Daniel Rouslin has given
recitals in Oregon, California, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, Chicago
and a number of Middle Eastern countries for the U.S. State Department.
Since 1986 Dr. Rouslin has been professor of violin and viola
at Willamette University, violinist of Trio Northwest, and concertmaster
of the Salem Chamber Orchestra.
