Come see how an orchestra prepares for the concert!
Dress rehearsals are a great way to hear fantastic live music, see behind the scenes, and even get a chance to sit on stage behind and next to the orchestra. Come early to participate in activities by Willamette Valley Music Co and to claim the best seats.
The atmosphere is more relaxed than a formal concert—musicians wear jeans instead of suits—but it is still a working rehearsal. There will be starts and stops in the music, as well as run-throughs of the pieces that will be on the concert.
Interact! Ask your own questions via Facebook, Twitter, or email (email@example.com) and the guest artists and/or Nikolas Caoile, principal conductor, will answer them during breaks in the rehearsal. Even if we don’t have time to answer all questions at the event itself, all questions will be answered and posted online afterward.
Detailed rehearsal schedules will be posted three weeks prior to the event.
